In a predominantly male industry, Courtney Dyer, financial expert and podcast host, is on a mission to get women a seat at the financial table. She is passionate about teaching women how to rewrite their money scripts, so they can achieve financial freedom of their own. For example, Courtney explains that investing often seems more complicated than it is due to the abundance of information available. A quick Google search will yield millions of results, each advertising different suggestions about how and where to invest. According to Courtney, most of the information out there is untrue, especially the myth that investing is only for people with money. Investing is an option for anyone, no matter their economic status or educational background! But before you go to open an investment account you must do two things: pay off any high-interest debt and create sustainable spending plans that support both your long-term and short-term goals.
